Open Art Lab Presents DJ'ing Workshop With Animus

In this class you will learn the fundamentals of contemporary DJ'ing. We will be holding two 70-minute sessions, during which we will cover: a brief history of DJ'ing, counting music, understanding music (tempo, key, rhythm), interface effects, and, most importantly, how to mix!

/// About the Artist:
Richard "Animus" Lopez is a graphic design student at MASSART and an emerging DJ in Boston . He is traditionally trained DJ since 2008 in the Brooklyn style and has been practicing Contemporary DJ since 2012. Richard is a member of the EMW Bookstore design team, creating amazing visuals and designs for many of the events.
